Please join us on May 5th from 2-4pm EST for a timely conversation about policy priorities in the context of President Biden’s anticipated return to evidence-based social policy. The 2021 Social Policy Program cohort will focus on three key areas that require urgent attention: housing, criminal justice and health. Specifically, students will present:
- Policy Recommendations to Target Low-Income Renters Facing Eviction
- Invisible Women: A Gendered Approach to Criminal Justice and SubstanceAbuse Rehabilitation
- Increasing Trust and Health Information in Minority Communities: Evidence-Based Policy Recommendations for Communication Strategies
The event will include student presentations followed by lively discussion with the broader Hopkins community. The event is open to the public and sponsored by the Poverty and Inequality Research Lab, SNF Agora and the 21st CenturyCities Initiative.
