Julia Aurelia Glass is a current student at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies earning her Master's in International Economics & Finance. Though Aurelia studied mechanical engineering as an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins, she pivoted towards poverty economics and policy after her experiences as a transgender woman showed her firsthand the impact of policy on the lives of marginalized people. At SAIS, her research focuses on development economics and women in the workforce.
