Julia O'Donnell
Research Program Manager
Julia O’Donnell is a Research Program Manager at the Poverty and Inequality Research Lab. At PIRL, Julia oversees day-to-day operations – including hiring, training and managing staff; project management; data collection; and data management – as well as assisting the Director with implementing and evaluating PIRL’s goals.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Julia holds a M.A. in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and a B.A. in Sociology from Fordham University. Julia’s graduate work focused on applied survey research methods through the University of Chicago Survey Lab. Prior to joining PIRL, Julia spent seven years in institutional research, most recently at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School where she held the role of Assistant Director of Institutional Data and Analytics. In her spare time (and when possible), Julia enjoys stand-up comedy, hiking, live music and travel.
