Matthew Gonzalez is a predoctoral research fellow in Sociology at The Johns Hopkins University.
Academic background
Originally from Connecticut, Matt earned both a BS and MA in Economics from Syracuse University. Prior to joining PIRL, he worked as a research assistant for Syracuse University's Department of Economics and Center for Policy Research, where he contributed to projects related to labor market structures, rental discrimination and international trade. Outside of work, Matt is an avid cyclist and enjoys spending time in nature.
