Nicole Kiker
Research Program Coordinator
Nicole is a Research Program Coordinator at the Poverty and Inequality Research Lab. She is a 2021 Johns Hopkins graduate in political science, who now conducts and maintains data collection, assists with data analysis, manages and supports various projects, and writes for PIRL.
Nicole holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies with a minor in Spanish Language and Culture from The Johns Hopkins University. Before graduating from Hopkins, Nicole focused on housing mobility and place-based opportunity at PIRL. She now manages housing data analysis projects, conducts interviews, and presents findings to PIRL’s partners. Nicole is interested in the intersections between housing and education and exploring the diverse avenues for research to impact policy. Previously, Nicole has worked as a fellow in the Manhattan District Attorney's Office researching gun violence prevention. In her spare time, Nicole hikes and cooks for her friends and family.
