Daphne Moraga

Daphne Moraga is an undergraduate at the Johns Hopkins University studying Sociology and Africana Studies.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Daphne has worked for various nonprofits, mostly focused on mentoring, increasing access to health care, and empowerment of youth through creative pursuits, in her native Queens, NY. At PIRL, she’s worked on Who’s Moving In? and CMTO. Daphne hopes to earn a Master’s in Social Work and eventually study human rights law. In her spare time, she does Latin dancing, spends time with her little brother, and buys small plants that she can’t keep alive. She is currently on the hunt for the best dim sum in Baltimore!
