Gorana Ilic

Gorana Ilic is a Sociology doctoral student at the Johns Hopkins University. She is interested in urban sociology and social theory.

 

Academic Background

Gorana earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Milan, an MA in Economics from the University of Bologna, and an MA in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago. Prior to coming to Hopkins, she worked at the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University.

Research Interests: urban sociology, social theory.

Research Projects: At PIRL, Gorana contributed to developing a more comprehensive measure of housing insecurity using insights from voucher recipients' residential histories.
