Joseph Boselovic
Joseph is a PhD Candidate in Sociology at Johns Hopkins. His research examines barriers and preferences in families' school decision-making and explores how schooling and housing policy can address inequalities in children's school contexts.
Academic background
Joseph earned a BA in English from the College of William & Mary and an MSEd in Education, Culture, and Society from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to Hopkins, Joseph worked as a researcher at the University of Pennsylvania and Loyola University New Orleans and was a founding staff member at one of the first ‘diverse-by-design’ charter schools in New Orleans. When his head is not in a book, Joseph can be found enjoying some wine, cooking, listening to jazz, and/or drinking coffee.
