Krishil Patel

Academic Background

Krishil Patel is a graduate student at Johns Hopkins University pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering in Robotics. He is interested in combining robotics hardware design, AI, and data-driven research to better understand complex robotics systems. He aims to make tedious tasks easier by implementing automation in whatever domains are possible, allowing focus to be directed to the important parts of research.

Research Interests:
Robotics Machine Design, Artificial intelligence, Qualitative research methods.

Research Projects:
At PIRL, he works on research projects involving qualitative data analysis, coding support, and AI-assisted workflows for organizing and interpreting large research datasets. At LIMBS, he works on sensor driven controls for robotics inspired by biological species, such as an Eigenfish, that sense the environment through an electric field.
