Leah Kim is an undergrade research assistant at PIRL and a sophomore at Johns Hopkins University studying Public Health and Spanish. At PIRL, Leah works on the Race Trends study, examining how housing, education, and economic mobility shape opportunities and decision-making in Crittenden County, Arkansas and Marion County, Illinois. Her work includes conducting comprehensive literature reviews, coding and synthesizing qualitative data, and writing policy memos to identify social mechanisms and inform study design. In her spare time, Leah enjoys lifting, reading classics, and discovering new matcha spots.
