Lorraine Rinaldi is an undergraduate student at The Johns Hopkins University studying economics and film and media studies.
Lorraine is an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University majoring in Economics and Film and Media Studies. At PIRL, Lorraine's research work focuses on how educational attainment is affected by the presence and and anticipation of unplanned, negative events that occur in students' lives. Lorraine is interested in how PIRL's research relates to economic policy and is a member of the Johns Hopkins Steering Committee for the Economics Policy Issues Colloquium. In addition, Lorraine loves to make films and is very interested in the student-run film production company on campus, Studio North. In her spare time, Lorraine loves to read and travel.
