Ovviyaa Ramakrishnan

Ovviyaa Ramakrishnan recently graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a major in International Studies.

Ovviyaa Ramakrishnan is a research assistant at the Poverty and Inequality Research Lab who is working on the HAIL project. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in International Studies and a focus area in Anthropology. As an undergraduate, she served in the Executive Board of the Johns Hopkins University Undergraduate Law Review and as a Student Ambassador for the Gupta-Klinsky India Institute. 

Some of her prior research experience involves studying humanitarian disaster recovery in indigenous communities under the Clinton Foundation and the Kalinago Institute for Global Resilience and Regeneration. Outside of work, Ovviyaa enjoys spending time outdoors, in museums, and doing arts and crafts.
