Sam Siemer
Sam Siemer is an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University studying Economics and International Studies.
As a research assistant at PIRL, Sam categorizes survey data on the life histories of lab interview participants in Illinois and Arkansas to help understand patterns between economic mobility, inequality, community services, and race. This intersectional, pattern-seeking work aligns with her academic interests of the global implications of United States economic fiscal policy, particularly on quality of life, social mobility, and the environment. Outside of academics, you can find her listening to Bruce Springsteen while practicing rollerblading tricks.
