Sara Bartlett

Sara Bartlett is an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University studying Public Health and Sociology. 

Sara is a member of the Johns Hopkins Class of 2025, double majoring in Public Health Studies and Sociology on the pre-med track. As a research assistant at the Poverty and Inequality Research Lab (PIRL), she explores how community-driven initiatives create meaningful change. Passionate about family and community health, she is particularly interested in policies that strengthen families and expand access to preventive care. She also loves traveling to new communities and experiencing different parts of the country, gaining insight into how local contexts shape health and opportunity. Outside of research, Sara is a student-athlete and serves as President of Female Leaders of Color (FLOC) and Co-President of the Black Student Athlete Association (BSAA).
